The American Astronomy Center of Excellence is well aware that no one wants to receive unsolicited emails, in any form.  It is our strict policy that;

·      No email will be sent to any persons or places of business unless it was the obvious and clear intent of the receiver to participate, as a receiver, in receiving the intended email message from us directly.

·      Email messages, data transmissions, reports and the like will only be sent with the clear understanding that the recipient of the transmission would have a reasonable expectation of receiving email from the sender.

·      The recipients of any email from our offices has the full right to assume that the American Astronomy Center of Excellence has the full legal right, including copyrights, by self-publication or as a right granted from the information generator to the American Astronomy Center of Excellence, to retransmit the information to the recipient.

·      Any information transmitted from the recipients to our offices, up to and including any personally identifiable information, and including identifiable email address will be held in strictest confidence and will be used only for the purposes of communicating with the recipient.  Under no circumstances will any information regarding the recipient be transmitted to third parties.

·      A recipient may request to "unsubscribe" from any of our email  lists at any time by simply communicating their desire to be removed.  This will be honored immediately and any and all information particular to the communications with the recipient will be permanently erased.

Any updates or changes to the terms of this Privacy Statement will be posted here on our Site and the date of the newest version posted below.  Please check back frequently, especially before you submit any Personally Identifiable Information at our Site, to see if this Privacy Statement has changed.
